Her approach to weddings started with her own.

Jennifer married at City Hall, and her husband left that same day for a 10 month military deployment. That experience shaped the way she thinks about weddings today. The moment does not have to be complicated, oversized, or filled with pressure to be meaningful. It should feel intentional, personal, and centered on the people actually getting married.

That belief became Just Elope.

Since founding the company in 2017, Jennifer has helped couples create elopements and micro weddings that remove much of the traditional wedding planning stress without taking away the meaning of the day. Whether a couple is getting married in a public park, a private venue, a garden, a chapel, or somewhere completely their own, Jennifer believes the experience should still feel thoughtful and well planned.

As The Wedding Auntie, Jennifer has also become known for talking honestly about the people side of weddings. Guest expectations, budgets, family dynamics, boundaries, relationships, and all the conversations that happen long before anyone walks down the aisle.

Jennifer is also an experienced wedding officiant whose work has included Netflix's Love Is Blind, the wedding of Da Brat and Jessica “Judy” Dupart featured on WE tv's Brat Loves Judy, the State Fair of Texas, and weddings of all sizes across the country.

Her approach to officiating is personal. She believes a ceremony should capture your love story, sound like the two people standing at the altar, and feel just as intentional as every other part of your wedding day.
